Try a small piece of the work

Plan replenishment for a fictional campus shop with uncertain weekly demand.

Produce

A stock model, reorder rule, scenario comparison and supplier questions list.

Check your result

The model separates demand, lead time and safety stock and shows what changes under a delay.

Common misconception

A mathematically neat plan can fail when supplier lead times, data quality or service constraints are ignored.

Practical constraints

Warehouse exposure, shift patterns and access to planning systems vary widely by employer.
