OUR ASSESSMENT APPROACH

Thoughtful tools. Honest interpretation.

An assessment should help a conversation. It should never pretend to decide a person’s future.

Complete counselling forms: A, B and C

Each of our three stages has three original question sets. A form contains 48 interest questions, 36 career-cluster questions, 24 values questions, 18 learning or work-habit questions, 12 decision-readiness questions and 42 short reasoning tasks, plus two optional written reflections. Allow 30–45 minutes with breaks; the timing is a pilot estimate and there is no countdown.

Rating dimensions use the mean of answered 1–5 responses. “Not enough experience” is excluded. At least 60% of the statements in a dimension must have ratings before a mean is shown. Reasoning reports show tasks solved and attempted within each seven-question group; a completely skipped group has no score. Written reflections are saved for discussion and are not automatically scored.

Answer keys and calculations stay on the server. Free access gives the same questionnaire with a shorter interest summary; an eligible school code unlocks the detailed report. Authorised DrGlowbal assessment staff can review calculations in either case. School codes do not automatically share results or grant guardian consent.

These are pilot tools, not standardised IQ instruments, clinical tests or proven predictors of outcomes. Forms A, B and C have not been statistically equated. Do not average their scores or interpret small differences as improvement or decline. Reliability, factor structure, fairness, local norms and timing must be evaluated before making stronger claims. Positive counselling feedback is not a measurement of psychometric accuracy.

Optional short career reflections

Our optional original exercises use 12 statements each and four themes. They are educational reflection tools, not validated psychometric tests. Responses use a five-point agreement scale. Some items are reversed to reflect their wording. Each theme is calculated from the observed answers within the possible response range and displayed from 0 to 100.

  • All 12 responses are required before scoring. Missing responses are not treated as neutral.
  • There is no overall score, pass/fail result, population percentile or ranking.
  • The summary describes your current responses. It does not measure aptitude, diagnose a condition or exclude career options.
  • Saved results are computed on the server against the version you answered. Your counsellor does not receive them automatically.

Validated instruments are a separate category

We link to the official O*NET Interest Profiler as an external vocational-interest resource. Its research and occupation context do not automatically establish suitability for every Indian or NRI student. We do not copy its items or present our original exercises as its equivalent. Any future native licensed test will identify its owner, version, evidence, intended population, norms, permissions and interpretation requirements.

Library review

The 64 career profiles, 216 articles and guides, and 16 worksheets are original editorial drafts. They provide structured starting points and do not establish current admission, licensing, immigration or employment requirements. Verify those with the relevant official institution or regulator. We avoid invented salary statistics, ranking claims, professional credentials and outcome guarantees.

From reflection to useful action

  • Notice a theme and identify an example from your experience.
  • Explore at least two plausible routes, including their difficult or routine parts.
  • Try a small project or speak with someone familiar with the work.
  • Discuss the evidence with a qualified counsellor and choose a next step.
